Yesterday was mayoral elections here in France. The mayor of Lyon, Grégory Doucet, was up for re-election (he was elected to his first term in 2020). His main opponent, Jean-Michel…
On Saturday, we enjoyed a picnic at the Parc de la Tête d'Or in Lyon. We traveled via the Vélo'v eBike service. We enjoyed our food, even if we had to fight off a couple of geese. We visited the free zoo featuring giraffes, as well as the botanical garden, which inspired future explorations.

I think that every bride, on her wedding day, is contractually obligated to wake up, squeal "OMG, we're getting married!" while jumping up and down on her fiancé's head. That's…
After relaxing with my sisters, I was ready to tackle the rest of my to-do list. Which consisted of finishing up the caramel apples and hanging out with friends and…
On Friday morning, I woke up and pretended that I wasn't getting married the next day. That worked for about twelve seconds, but the sounds of happy (read: screaming) children…
