He went peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by loving family. It doesn’t make this any easier.

I went through something similar with my Grandpa. We were glad to see him finally at peace, but I missed him more than I realized.

I’m sorry to hear that. 🙁 It’s been a little over four years since my grandfather passed away, and I still miss him.
So sorry to hear this, I was hoping he would stick around with you guys for awhile longer. My heart goes out to you, as do my prayers

Wow… has it been that long? I remember your stories about how it all went down. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years!
I think he realized that it was the end game. He fought really hard for a really long time. I miss him like crazy, but I’m glad he’s not in any pain.
It makes it a little easier… I’m happy and confident that there wasn’t anything left that needed to be said. He knew how much we loved him.
