Hi, my name is Hope and I started by blog all the way back in 2006, when I was just a couple of years out of college. Since then, I’ve met my (now) husband, bought a house, got married, and had a baby. And by baby, I mean that she’s now 13 years old.

(And counting. I have a bad track record of updating my “About Me” page).

Somewhere along the way, I stopped posting. Mostly because life got too busy. But also because social media made micro-blogging so easy. But then, in 2025, we decided that we were going to throw caution to the wind and move to France. I wanted a way to share our adventures with the folks back home. So, here we are.
