She’s too young for trick or treating, but Lilian is going to help us hand out candy dressed as a lobster.
I bought Lilian’s costume six years ago as a present for my nephew. My sister gave it back to us a few weeks as a hand-me-down. Which just reaffirms my belief that I should have been giving her way more cute clothes over the years. And, believe you me, I’ve given my niece and nephew quite a few adorable little outfits.
Baby lobsters are so freaking cute.
Lilian and I have been going to a local moms’ meetup and last week we attended the halloween party. Everybody looooved her little lobster costume. There was much squeeing and picture taking. She was a little star!
In other news, we rode out the storm with pretty much no trouble. The lights flickered once or twice, and we lost cable/internet for an hour or so, but we were otherwise fine. A few good friends stayed over, so we had plenty of company. We were nice and cozy in our living room, watching Harry Potter and eating homemade cookies.
In other other news, I’m trying to decide if I should do NaBloPoMo this year. I attempt it every year and I usually succeed… but this year I’ve got an adorable little distraction who makes it rather hard to get my hands free for typing. What do you all think? I suppose I can always supplement with photos. I just don’t want to drag the quality of this blog down any further!

Love the lobster!! C was too big to be one this year.. maybe with the next one we’ll do that- all that’s missing is the big pot to put them in as a prop 🙂
