The culmination of my day from Hell yesterday was the realization that, because of the writers’ strike, our tickets to see the Daily Show next Monday are now completely useless. Because, you know, they don’t really need a studio audience for reruns.
Bah.
I completely understand where the writers are coming from, I just wish that they had waited a week and a day.
Oh well, we are still going to NYC where we are going to see my friend Vicki and hang out with my sister and my nephew. I will just have to wait for another occasion to see Jon Stewart in person.
Bah.
Noooo! That is so depressing! I’ve always wanted to go see the Daily Show, but really, when am I ever free to go to New York on a weeknight? Never, that’s when.
Heh, I forgot there were still shows on TV that have writers.
