Well, I haven’t posted in a while and I have a bunch of stuff that doesn’t really tie together. But I’m gonna lump it all in the same post anyways. I’ll try to keep it short.
Kristian and I went to see the Sox game last Friday. I took a few pictures. They are here.
Monday, some friend from work and I went to see our friend Tara run in the Boston Marathon. We were the best cheering section ever. Here is a picture of all of us:

I love Marathon Monday. It always amazes me that people can run 26 miles. That they can train so long and so hard. That so many tens of thousands of people make it up heartbreak hill. That people stay outside all day to cheer their fellow man on. It really is inspiring to see whole families outside, yelling out encouragement.
The people in the Marathon have to have the strength and determination to make it to the finish line. But the people who are watching are there with them every step of the way. It’s Boston at its best. I love it.
On Tuesday, when I was walking to work, I saw a garbage truck on fire. The top was all charred and it was smoldering. Then some of the garbage in the back burst into flames. It was pretty amazing, actually. I took a picture, here it is (click on it for huge honking full-size image fun):

I think that’s about it. And I am now well on my way to being late for work if I don’t get up and get in the shower. I’m going to my Sister’s baby shower this weekend, so check back here Monday for pictures of a big belly and Peekskill in the Spring.
I guess that’s one way to get rid of garbage without dumping it in a landfilll. Great, now everyone here will think I’m a tree hugger…not that there’s anything wrong with tree huggers…damn it…I have to go now.
