The Blue Dress

I am nothing if not willing to bend over backwards for my blog readers. You asked for a recent photo of me in the blue dress, so here you are! I took it just now after taking a bath. A nice, long, luxurious bath accompanied by the latest issue of Real Simple.

The Blue Dress
I think the towel is a nice touch, don’t you? Should I wear it to the wedding?
As you can see, it’s a little loose around the midsection now. Not as loose as I’d like it to be, but loose nonetheless. Now you see why I’m torn? The even votes in the comments aren’t helping matters either. Clearly, a tie-breaker is needed. If my credit card bill wasn’t currently screaming in pain, I would say that I should just buy myself something new and pretty. New and pretty is still on the table, but I’d like to channel Tim Gunn and make this work.Help?

Ok, just changed my mind!! Blue, blue, blue….. just tighten the belt a little 🙂

  2. Blue!! I love it. I agree with tightening the belt, maybe tie it in the back with a bow? That would be really cute!

  3. BLUE.

    and towel.

is it possible to coordinate the towel and the belt?

  4. I think I like that one without the belt. Even better if you could get it taken in some.

I’m going to start a fashion revolution. Mark my words, people are going to be wearing towels to weddings within the next year.

    Muahahahahahaha.

  6. I like the blue and the towel, definitely a future fashion revolution! I can hear it now Viva Le Towel! Yeah Mr. Richardson still hasn’t made an impact on my French…

  7. hmmm… would the new wrap dress not be formal enough for this event?

the blue dress is still good though. I vote for the belt tied with a bow in the back.
