2009: A Year in Quilts

By my counting, I made seven quilts in 2009. Not bad for a girl who (ostensibly) has a social life, eh? Please, allow me to show off.

Those of you who are capable of doing math may realize that I only have six quilts pictured here. I made an awesome alphabet quilt for my sister Allison’s friend. And then forgot to take pictures of it. Because I suck. I’m going to try and track some photos done.

(I started two other quilts in 2009. But they’re only partially done. And that doesn’t count for anything).

Looking at these photos, I am aware of two things. 1) My skills are definitely improving. b) I need to start ironing my quilts before taking my photos. They looked so much nicer in person. These pictures make them all look like wrinkly messes.

I’m working on a couple of new projects. Will post pictures when they’re done.

    Are you hinting, Kristina? 😉

  3. You also need to start selling them on Etsy! Adorbs!

That’s the plan! Just need to build up a stash!

  5. Oh my, those are so pretty and I’m very jealous of your skillz.

  6. Such beautiful work! I especially love the baby quilt. I’ve only made 2 quilts in my life (years and years ago, too) but it was so much fun… I really wish I had the time to make another!
