I’m Not Dead (Yet!)

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Life has been both incredibly busy and incredibly boring lately. The combination of the two makes for some unbelievably bad blogging. Trust me, you haven’t missed much.

My life for the past couple of weeks can basically be summed up with the following:

  • I’m taking 6 hours of classes a week and doing about 471,331,6782 hours of homework a night (actual homework time might be slightly off)
  • We just gave incoming freshmen their email addresses this week and anyone who had had problems has wanted to diiiiiiiiiiiiie because they couldn’t create their new facebook account. I pity them, I really do.
  • I’m taking the LSATs on Monday
  • I can’t remember the last time I got a decent night’s sleep
  • I have managed to lose 3 pounds (so far!) (w00t!)
  • Counting calories has revealed an OCD side of my personality that I never knew existed.
  • Kristian and I went up to his old summer camps’ work weekend last weekend. We raked for 6 hours. The blisters on my thumbs are still all oozy and gross
  • The analysis of soil from our backyard revealed that our garden is chock full of delicious, deadly lead. I believe that the phrasing that we got when we asked about the lead content was “don’t even think, under any circumstances, about contemplating eating anything that grew in that garden. I plan to feed all of the non-unleaded beans that we are apparently growing to unruly freshmen who won’t shut up about their facebook accounts.
  • Palm released a new update for my Treo. I applied said update. Oops. Now it won’t turn on. Palm will be sending me a new Treo sometime during the next century.
  • So, that’s my life in a nutshell. Work, work, study, work, study, work, study, study. I believe that I made cookies at some point.

Hopefully my life will improve in the next couple of weeks and I’ll have something worthy of posting.

  1. Sending you lots and lots of sympathy, Hope. Now go kick butt on the LSATs!

  2. Good luck on the LSAT. You will do great!

I listened to “Eye of the Tiger” and “Damn it Feels Good to be A Gangsta” during the break which seemed to get me through the second half.
