Ruby’s Quilt!
My sister took some pictures of Ruby’s quilt for me. Here they are!
The blue quilt underneath it is a wedding quilt that my Grandmother made for her.
I’m incredibly happy with the way that this quilt came out. I know I always say that my most recent one is my favorite one/best one yet… but this one seriously takes the cake. I started it in September and finished it mid-November, so that’s two-and-a-half months straight of working on it. Every piece of the applique is hand-stitched down. This was most definitely a labor of love.
And so worth it.

That’s so beautiful, Aunt Hope!
those bug appliques are amazing!! especially the ant!
i saw a lady at a craft fair on the weekend with onesies with neckties on them. she said she’s tried other shapes too but it ends up being a giant pain in the butt cutting out more complicated ones if she’s making a lot of them. perhaps something to consider!
Neckties is an awesome idea! I probably shouldn’t steal it.
