Because I have nothing to say and I love to play with my camera phone, here are some pictures from my desk here at work. I was given access to ordering my own office supplies last week and I am quite pleased with the result.
I… I… I believe you have my stapler! (I set the building on fire). Ok, so it’s not so much a red swingline stapler as it is a burgundy swingline stapler… but Staples charges like $130 for a stapler, so I’m going to hold on to it as tightly as the crazy guy from “Office Space” did. Please don’t think that I am fiscally irresponsible for ordering my stapler in a whimsical color. All of the staplers in our staples catalog cost like $130. I’m still fiscally irresponsible, but not in this case. Note that you can’t get tape dispensers in fun colors. Which means that I’m just going to have to bust out my…
Rainbow colored Sharpies(tm)! Is there anything more awesome than a set of sharpies in all the colors of the rainbow? It’s office supply gay pride in the drawer where I keep them all. Never again shall I be forced to use a dark blue sharpie when I really want to use a light blue one. I know that we’re all breathing a sigh of relief over that.
Now on to the fun stuff on my desk…
My angel and devil rubber duckies. They sit on my monitor and battle it out for my everlasting soul. One tells me to be productive. The other one tells me to take stupid pictures with my camera phone and then write about them on the internet.
My mini sock monkey! Kristian bought him for me so that I would have something with the same emotional maturity level as me to hang out with at work.
Magic Wand! Everyone should have one of these in with their pens. I wave mine around to make the students stop forgetting their passwords. It doesn’t work very well. Good thing I bought the extended warranty.
