Author’s Note: Please welcome my first guest blogger of the month, my awesome little sister. And I would like to state for the record that she is not nearly as annoying as she seems to think that she is. And that I am still sorry about trying to take over their 4th birthday party video. PS. November 2, 2008 is the 25th anniversary of Hope’s world changing.
That’s when I was born. And Allison.
One little sister is bad enough, but two?
I know for a fact that Hope was really cute because
there are a.) photos, b.) sound recordings, and c.) videos
of Hope when she was little.
Boy oh boy. Like Shirley Temple but really smart.
I think Hope’s first word was “why”.
I’m OK intellectually but my big sis has it goin’ on in the cranium.
But we made her work for the attention after we were born.
Because we look like her, but there are two of us.
There is a great video of Hope roller skating around me and Allison
as we are interviewed on our 4th birthday.
She looks damn cute doing it, but….
Maybe this is why Hope went into music,
to get the attention she so rightly deserves,
Well, Happy Birthday to me. (and Allison, too)
And Happy Music-ing to Hope,
may it continue to save you from the twins
and other annoyances.
