I think that it’s quite appropriate, don’t you?
(Why, yes, I do work in an office suite that’s not open to the general public.)
As of two or so weeks ago, I am now the classroom support technician here at Tufts. Which makes me responsible for all of the A/V equipment in about a hundred classrooms. It also officially makes me an A/V Club Nerd. It’s the part I was born to play, baby.
I’m enjoying my new job immensely, although it has left me feeling totally busy and a bit like I’ve been bailing out the Titanic. One person for a hundred classrooms is not exactly the best ratio, if you know what I mean. But, my job does require all sorts of fun stuff like climbing on ladders and using a multi-tool. And, yes, I consider these to be fun things.
Like I said, it was the part I was born to play, baby.
The OT ain’t bad either.
Do you like your job these days?

Now you just need to put that on your LinkedIn profile 😉
I’ve been at the same company for too long and am bored with the same old people and fighting the same old fights. No luck with a new job though. I’m not finding that whole ‘it’s easier to find a job when you have a job’ thing to be true. I’m awesome, they need me!
Is that a door? Do you have a door? That shuts?
BWAHAHAHA!
I’m really liking the new title 🙂
I love my job completely.
My flatmate has a good title too – Technical Overlord – and his is on his business cards. Have you had some done with the ass kicking on it?
I love my job — both of them. By day I get to write and talk about dolphins, manatees, conservation, etc. At night I write romance novels. BTW, Hope, my official title is Media Relations Coordinator. However, on my door is a sign that says Goddess of Media & Marketing. Kick ass and take names, girlfriend.
