Happy First Birthday!

Happy birthday to my favorite baby, Lilian.

(You’re not going to be a baby for very much longer).

(Waaaaaaaaah).

This past year has just flown right by. It’s been a lot of work, and not a lot of sleep, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

(Although I’d probably try and get someone to take more pictures of you and me).

Lilian, you are the most amazing little girl. Every day you astound me with your new-found abilities. And I can’t believe how unbelievably fortunate we are that you are so happy-go-lucky and cheerful. The neighbors all swear that you are all smiles and no fussing.

(Your Dad and I know better, but it’s a 95-5 split, so no way are we complaining).

I’m so happy and proud to be your mom. Happy birthday!
