I do NaBloPoMo every year because I find that it forces me to get out of my comfort zone and write. But, sometimes it just results in a bunch of filler. It feels like this year has been nothing but filler. I’m sure that has nothing (nothing!) to do with the fact that I’m chronically sleep-deprived and have almost no time to write.
It doesn’t help that I’m trying oh so very hard to avoid becoming a one trick pony and turning this into a mommy blog.
Anyways, I tried my hardest to think of something interesting to say tonight, but I got a whole lotta nuthin’. So, as penance, here is a ridiculous photo of my two sisters and me from when we were wee children. I’m the goofball in the middle.
If I didn’t know any better, I would say that Peggy Rathmann used me as a model for Bootsie Barker. I should demand me some royalties.
She’d pay up, too. I mean, everybody knows that Bootsie Barker Bites.
(That book is awesome, BTW. If you have any small people in your life who like books, you should totally get it for them).
I would loooove to know where that crotched dress came from. It looks a little bit like I’m wearing an afghan. But it also looks a little bit awesome. I was an oddly dressed child.

Such a cute picture!!! What is NaBloPoMo? Is it like Nanowrimo for bloggers?
I think the three of you were and are adorable.
Exactly! You write a blog post every day for a month. 😀
Thank you!!!
That’s such a cute picture. Love the hat!
Thanks! 😀
