Dear internets. I have a confession to make. You have to promise not to get mad.
I bought a new dress.
I gave you options a) yellow dress or b) blue dress, but I went with c) none of the above. I suppose that this makes me shallow and materialistic. But, who isn’t shallow and materialistic when it comes to dressing for weddings? I bought the dress on sale at T. J. Maxx if that makes it any better. It also looks amazing on me.
You all had some great ideas for how to make the blue dress look better and I plan to use them after I’ve lost a little more weight and I have time to take it to a tailor. I also had a great idea about how to make the yellow dress look better. Courtesy, of course, of my heroes Stacy and Clinton. Is there anything that they don’t know? About fashion and mixed drinks, that is.

Yes, we need pictures of the new dress. And also, buying it on sale at TJ Maxx does not exactly sound like a horrific splurge, so I fully approve. And also also, I am curious what you are going to do to improve the yellow dress, because I did like that even though it had somewhat unfortunate proportions.
