Sick days aren’t truly awful when you get to sleep in, have Tivo and your Mom drops by to bring you homemade lentil soup for dinner. They aren’t so great when the only thing left on the Tivo is episodes of What Not to Wear. Love the show! Love it! But I can only watch so many episodes before I start looking on Zappos and Bluefly and wistfully wondering if it would be a bad thing if I maxed out my credit cards. All of them. Not that I would ever actually do that. Sigh. All I want for Christmas is a million dollars. And a million pairs of shoes. I’ve been good. I deserve it!
Also, our internet connection continues to crap out every twenty minutes. And we don’t have the NFL Network and I want to watch the Packers/Cowboys game tonight.
I seem to be in need of a waaaaaaaaaaambulance. Badly. Also, for RCN to fricking send out someone to fix our damn internets. Also, we might need digital cable. Sometime in the next hour and a half. And the aforementioned million dollars. My requests are simple, really.
In the time it took to write out this post, our internet connection died and had to be resuscitated twice.
*Cries*
I want a million dollars too. Or one of those What Not to Wear Visa gift cards would work too. Mmmm, shoes…
Hope you get to feeling better!
I’ll take one of those cards…. with a million dollars on it!
I am endlessly amused when you refer to the waaaambulance. It had been so long since I’d heard anyone say that, and then I started reading your blog, and I got to see it twice in one month. And I giggled. Both times. Because that is awesome.
I hope you feel better soon!
I totally hear you on WNTW and its mysterious wallet subterfuge.
Get well soon!
