I was inspired by this blog entry here to craft some wine bottle covers of my own. I’m not entirely sure why, but it seemed like it would be a lot of fun! And I sure was right. What’s more fun than using a hot glue gun, sparkly paint and googly eyes? Answer: absolutely nothing. There is nothing more fun than making things with sparkles and googley eyes. Nothing. I even got to use gold pipe cleaners. And duct tape. I’m like Martha freaking Stewart with a lot less money and no felony convictions.
Kristian is probably cursing me over the mess that I made, but it was worth it!
They came out a lot cuter than I had even imagined, so I decided to sell them on Etsy. Here’s hoping that someone who likes bizarre craft products and booze decides to buy them. I feel that bizarre craft products and booze often go hand in hand. It is not advisable, however, to use hot glue while drunk. I have a tendency to burn myself enough as it is.
Devil: “You should drink more wine.”
Angel: “Yeah! Totally!”
