My friend Tara is running the Boston Marathon this year (a feat that leaves me tired just thinking about it). Last year, a bunch of us from work went to cheer her on. We had a really fun time cheering for all of the runners. Tara did great, and she loved the fact that we all wore these awesome tshirts. Well, Tara is running again this year and she is also trying to raise money for a worthy cause, The Pine Street Inn.
I would like to encourage any of you who can, to make a donation. To sweeten the deal, if Tara gets a hundred dollars from people who click through from my blog (just leave a comment in your donation that you are coming from this site), I will don a purple wig and feather boa and run a mile with Tara when she gets to where we are cheering for her. Please keep in mind that we will be waiting right before heartbreak hill. :p Of course, I will make sure that someone take pictures.
