Yeah, yeah, I know, Labor Day doesn’t celebrate that particular form of labor.
Except my Mom went into labor for me on Labor Day, so nyeh nyeh.
Labor Day was on the 7th that year (same as this year), the latest in the year that it could possibly be (it only happens when September 1st is a Tuesday.
All of this is a roundabout way of saying, tomorrow is my birthday. And, you know, acknowledging my Mom and the important contribution that she made to this whole process.
Besides… she’s all kinds of awesome.
