It feels like we’ve been in New Orleans for five years and all of about five minutes. It’s hard to get sad about leaving… I *am* heading to France ok Friday, after all. But we had a fab time and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year.
Which will be fairly easy to accomplish with two free round trip tickets to anywhere in the contiguous US.
Oh, yes, United gave us vouchers in exchange for agreeing to give up our seats. I’m feeling less than altruistic, however.
Our new flight gets us in an hour earlier than our original itinerary.
And we’ve been upgraded to Economy Plus.
I can’t decide if we just pulled off the greatest scam of all time or if there is another shoe gearing up to land on my head. Either way, we intend to fully enjoy our vouchers.
I guess the shoe fell out of the locker.
