High Five Worthy Celebrities

I’m not all slap happy up here. There are a few celebrities that I would give a hearty high five to if I met them.

(by the by, jazz fest is a ton of fun)

Sandra Bullock. Not only do I think that she’s cuter than bees’ knees, she does a lot of charity work. And she donated a bunch of money post Indonesian tsunami and post Katrina.

Steve Earle. My songwriting idol AND an anti-death-penalty activist.

Britney Spears. Girlfriend went from a head shorn umbrella wielding nut bag to someone who makes a passable impression of normalcy. I’d say that’s worth five digits of an upward nature. Now you will all get Womanizer stuck in your heads. Feel free to curse me for it later.

Michelle Obama. First black First Lady. That’s pretty cool on it’s own. Throw in an organic garden and two tickets to the gun show and she pegs the awesome meter at 11.

Neil Young. Awesome musician and Farm Aid supporter. All of my favorite celebrities are activists.
