I’m here at Jennie’s house in DC and my trip was so easy, I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop. I mean, you’re not supposed to walk to the baggage carousel and have your suitcase come spinning by. It’s just not supposed to happen! Not only did my flight leave on time, it got me in early. Jennie even found a parking spot in the garage. Seriously, I fully expect to come home to our house being on fire. Air travel isn’t supposed to be this easy. Something has to go wrong!
We’re hanging out in Jennie’s house now, typing away on our matching macbooks (note to self: don’t take Jennie’s laptop home with me. she might not like that). Yes, we are both blogging. No, that is not lame in any way, shape and form. I swear.
We’re watching Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America and it is making me huuuuungry. Good thing we have sushi on its way. Did you know that you can order sushi on the internet now? You click a few buttons, give them some money and then they deliver it to your house. It’s a wonderful new world.
We’ve got plans to hit the gym (shut up, that’s an exciting plan in my book!), go to brunch, eat fondue, attend the ballet and watch Cloverfield. I’m starting to think that Jennie might be spoiling me a bit. I’m not complaining.
