Today, during my lunch break, I was on the Emily Rooney Show, talking about the very important issue of there being far too much snow in Boston. Clearly, I am a very important person with very important things to say.
I was supposed to be on TV last night, but they apparently had more people willing to complain about the snow than they actually needed. You’re all shocked, I’m sure. If you’re a regular twitter user, you know just how much everyone loves all of this snow. You also know how hard it is to convey sarcasm in text. Radio over TV is probably for the best. I’m having a bad hair month.
I thought that my interview went pretty well. Especially if you are a fan of nervous giggling. The one hitch? They gave my full name. And, whoops, I “awarded” snow removal in Malden a 3 out of 10. Which means that Kristian and I are going to wake up after the next snowstorm and find 7 feet of snow dumped on our front porch. But, hey, at least it will get it off the street!
If you want to listen to the whole awkward conversation, the audio should be available here.
I will definitely listen to it tonight!
Thanks! 🙂
that WAS awkward! you didn’t have much to work with did ya?
