My Life, it is so Hard. Yeah. Really. I swear.

Sorry for the lack of updates. My life has been boring lately. And I’ve been really busy planning this cocktail party for a college organization that I was in. Updates like, “Today I think that I pulled out half my hair. If nobody comes to the cocktail party on Thursday, I might curl up in the fetal position and cry…” Well, updates like that are just no fun. I do, however, promise that if I end up curled up in a ball on the floor of a function room, rocking back and forth and crying pitifully to myself… I’ll make sure to post the pictures. Video too, if there is any.

The big news these days is that Kristian and I are going to London at the end of the month (note to would be robbers: we have an apartment sitter. Also, we hired a guard cougar for the week).

Tickets to London are cheap in January because, well, it’s a city that’s already rainy and cold. Not exactly as attractive a destination as someplace warm and sunny. But, as my Dad pointed out, who needs it to be sunny out if you’re just going to be hanging out in pubs all day anyways? Say what you will about my family, we have our priorities straight. 😀

So, we’ll be in London for a week and in Paris for a couple of days. We’ll mostly be staying with family, so hopefully I won’t end up completely broke at the end of the week. I’ll still probably end up broke by the end of the week. Because, well, we’re going to London and Paris. And baby needs some new shoes. And, maybe some cute little outfits. Just kidding. I’ll stick to shoes. Maybe.

So, does anybody know of some fun things to do in London that don’t involve spending oodles of cash or consuming massive amounts of calories? I put on 5 pounds during the holidays and somebody gave me a weight-loss book for Christmas.

I think that we should spend most of our vacation taking long romantic walks. Even if we do spend a lot of time in the rain. I’ll just have to pack my favorite pink umbrella!
