Ok, it’s a crappy picture, but this is my new hair cut and bright red hair color. For the best effect, I really should have taken this with a fan blowing gently behind me. You know, the J-Lo effect.
I love the two days of the month (three if I play fast and loose with that whole showering thing) where I have movie-star hair. If my stylist doesn’t blow it out, it is not going to look like this. It takes her longer to straighten my hair than it does to do the actual cutting part.
In other words, my hair pretty much never looks this good. And even if I had a million years to dedicate to attempting to get it looking this good, I would probably only succeed in frizzing it up or setting it on fire.
Also, I’m pretty bad about actually going to get my hair cut. So, really, it only looks this good for 2-3 days every two months.
This is my convoluted way of saying that I really should have taken a real picture.

I’m the same way, it takes forever to dry and straighten my hair, and I can never get it to look like it does at the salon. I’ve got to grow it back out, I need my ponytail back!
