C’mon Larry Bacow! Hope wants a snow day!
I don’t know if this is officially a blizzard or not, but I’m going to refer to it from now on as the “Blizzard of Aught Six.” Then I’m going to pull on my old-timey suspenders, brandish my cane and shake my head like Grandpa Simpson. I really feel that this is the only proper way to talk about extreme weather. These youngsters today, they don’t know a thing about real snowstorms.
I took some photos today. Some of them are from the warmth and coziness of Kristian’s kitchen looking out at the snow and some are from our snowshoeing expedition out into the wilds of Swampscott. 😛
Speaking of snowshoeing, here is a picture of me snowshoeing for the first time!
It was fun. A little windy, very snowy. We trekked around the woods behind a golf course. We probably would have stayed out longer, but the snow was coming in sideways. Witness, this photo of Kristian with icicles for eyebrows.
