It’s been a truly lazy day, today. It’s 7:30pm and I’m still in my pajamas. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this. The weather is supposed to get really shitty tonight AND Kristian is on pager duty from now until 6pm tomorrow night, so we’re pretty much locked in to having a lazy day tomorrow as well. So, yeah, lazy weekend.

We’ve had a lot of those lately.

An awful lot of those lately.

I’m not sure why I’ve been spending so many weekends in my pajamas. Is it the weather? The economy? A secret crush on my couch?

I think that it’s fiscal responsibility (we’re watching our expenditures, so we haven’t gone away that often) coupled with inertia. Spend enough weekends on the couch and you kindof start forgetting to make plans.

I should probably work on that.

It’s not like I’ve been spending my time sitting around eating bon-bons. I’m not going to lie and say that there haven’t been bon-bons. What good is a lazy Saturday without some bon-bons? But, I’ve also been working on the house (well, mostly cleaning the house) and various artistic endeavors.

Ironic fabric in preparation for making quilts counts as an artistic endeavor. Right?

Right?

Please tell me that you’ve all had a more exciting weekend than me….
