She met our friend’s dog once, at a party all the way back in November. But, about ten times a day she asks us “wan’ see pictures Aki!” and sometimes we humor her and show her the one picture we have of the two of them.<\/p>\n
I told my friend about this, and she texted me all the pictures of Aki that she had on my phone. “Hey Lilian, do you want to see a new picture of Aki?”<\/p>\n
“Hello Aki,” she said, “how are ya? Good? Dis mama. Dat’s Uncle Dustin.”<\/p>\n

Me, upon discovering her sitting in the middle of the bag of cat food she just dumped out, nonchalantly chomping on kibble: “Lilian Jane Sanchez!!!”<\/p>\n
Lilian, unperturbed: “Mama Jane Sanchez!”<\/p>\n

Lilian: *laughs maniacally*
\nKristian: “Are you cracking yourself up?”
\nLilian: “I funny!”<\/p>\n

Lilian is at my mom’s house, mom is searching franticly for a lost item.<\/p>\n
Lilian: “do you have a flashlight?”<\/p>\n

Snuggling up in bed after I’d been gone most of the week at a training.<\/p>\n
