My baby is six months old today!<\/p>\n
At first she was all<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\nBut now she’s all<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\nI’d get all sunrise\/sunset about it, but I think that she gets cuter and cuter every day. And she definitely gets more and more fun. I’m sure that, when she’s a teenager, I’ll wish that I’d figured out a way to turn her into a bonsai baby. But, for now, I’m loving every moment of watching her grow.<\/p>\nWhen she was all teeny tiny, she had three modes: eating, sleeping, and crying her damn head off. Now, she’ll hang out with us. She’ll laugh at my stupid faces. She’ll smile back at me. She babbles, she gurgles, she coos. You put her on her back and she roles over onto her side, or she attempts to eat her toes. When I feed her, she grabs onto my nearest finger and holds on tightly. She pats your hand if you give her a bottle.<\/p>\nThat new baby smell isn’t quite so powerful, but it’s still there.<\/p>\nIf I ask her for a kiss, she’ll gum my cheek. Kristian plays a game with her where he yells “turbulence!” and shakes her changing pad back and forth. She grabs on for dear life and then laughs her head off.<\/p>\n<\/object><\/center><\/p>\nI have so much love in my heart for this tiny ball of happiness. She has such a sweet personality. I think she got her father’s even temperament, which is a lucky break for everyone involved. Because, let’s be honest here, we’d have some stormy seas ahead if she got my moodiness. She’s smart, she’s strong, she’s delightful.<\/p>\nI know every mom in the history of motherhood thinks that they have the world’s greatest baby.
