Yesterday, my best friend Liza and I took a mental health day. Well, I took a mental health day and Liza took a mental health half day. Clearly, this is because I am crazier than her. <\/p>\n

We met up after lunch and headed out to Acton to Moodz Day spa<\/a> to indulge in some massages. Because, you know, when you’re about to buy a house, it is important to make frivolous purchases, like massages. I steadfastly maintain that the knot in my left shoulder that was so large that the masseuse remarked on it is all the justification that I need. Plus, I had a coupon for $10\/off. So bite me. :p<\/p>\n

I went to the gym during lunch on Tuesday and then we had a two hour long ultimate frisbee practice after work. So, to say that I was sore yesterday would be a bit of an understatement. It’s an odd sensation to be sore all over your entire body and to be completely relaxed at the same time. “I feel great! But I hurt<\/i>!” I can only imagine that, without my massage yesterday, I would be unable to move today. Because I’m pretty close to that point as it is. (But the knot, it’s so much smaller!)<\/p>\n

After our massages, we headed to the cafe across the street, where we purchased the following cupcakes:<\/p>\n

I bought the lion for Kristian, because he looks like a lion when he yawns (see<\/a>?) and it’s totally adorable. Liza bought a bear for herself and I didn’t want to be left out. So I bought one for myself as well (and I wonder why I’m not losing any weight). Seriously, are they not the cutest cupcakes ever? Also, there is your proof, Kevin, that I will eat things that have a face.<\/p>\n

I was good and saved my cupcake to eat after dinner. Mostly, because I knew that if Kristian ate his cupcake in front of me and I didn’t have one of my own, I was going to steal some of his. And he always gets mad when I do that. I have no idea why. Really. Boys are so silly.<\/p>\n
