You gotta love Daylight Savings Time. From now on, I’ll be leaving work in the evening and it will still be light out. Actually, you don’t have to love DST, because I lost an hour of study time this weekend and getting up at 7am now feels like getting up at 6. <\/p>\n
Ugh.<\/p>\n
I might hate getting up in the morning, but I am<\/i> looking forward to long evenings of sunlight. I’m especially looking forward for winter to be over so that we can have long evenings of sitting outside. <\/p>\n
What I’m not exactly sure about is where we’ll be sitting outside. Our lease is up at the end of May, but we can’t start looking for a new place yet because a) we have no idea if I’ll be in school or not and b) there are very few apartments out there right now with a June 1st start date. <\/p>\n
Who knew that I am the type of person who freaks out about not having a set place to live? I suppose that one could deduce that, by being the type of person who freaks out at the drop of a hat, I could easily freak out about our living situation. Still, I thought that I wouldn’t care so much about this. Last time around, Kristian was the one pushing for us to find a place and find it now<\/i>. This time, we’re both looking at Craig’s List and wistfully telling each other, “this one looks nice.”<\/p>\n
I suppose that a lot of my angst is tied up in finding out about grad school. Everything for next year is so up in the air. Will I be in school? Will I still be working full-time? Will I be in the same job? (note to Jeff: of course I will :p) Where will we be living? Will we be able to buy a house? These are the questions that would keep me up at night if I wasn’t so exhausted. Say what you will about sleep deprivation, it helps me to conk out quite nicely when I finally have time to go to bed.<\/p>\n
