Good little consumer whore that I am, I derive no small amount of pleasure from spending money on shiny gadgets. Pragmatic little consumer whore that I am, my joy only grows when I get to spend someone else’s money on shiny gadgets. Joy of joys, I hit the jackpot today! My boss just handed over his purchasing card and we used it to buy an iPhone for me.<\/p>\n

That’s right betches, I’m getting an iPhone. And my employer is paying for it<\/i>.<\/p>\n

While it’s true that Jamie<\/a> gets to draw pretty pictures at work, I think that free gadgets is definitely up there in terms of on-the-job perks. The only drawback being, however, that I will have to use my new iPhone skillz to help spoiled college students get their email setup properly on their own pieces of consumer whoredom. Because, you know, when I get an iPhone and don’t have to pay for it, it is cosmic payback for the universe taking away the proper use of my butt. When other people get iPhones and don’t have to pay for them, it’s a travesty of epic proportions.<\/p>\n

I like it up here on my high horse. I have such a lovely view.<\/p>\n

In all seriousness, I am looking forward to the challenges of getting our exchange email setup properly on my shiny new toy. I also like having new and different job responsibilities. Yes, I admit it, I am a giant nerd.<\/p>\n
