We went to a pig roast last night hosted by my sister’s next door neighbor. We watched the pig roast all day. Gracie was particularly enthused by the goings-on next door. As a lapsed vegetarian and am avowed cutitarian, I was horrified by the concept of eating something that still had a face.<\/p>\n

Today, my stomach is killing me. This may or may not have something to do with eating more products in a weekend than I have in several months I mean, my brother-in-law bought us maple pastries that came with a slice of bacon on top. Just now, on the highway, we passed a truck loaded down with pigs. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out where they were headed. I’m not sure if the pang I got at that moment was gas or guilt. It was probably a bit of both.<\/p>\n
