The surgery was a success! It took longer than they had hoped, but my Grandmother made it and is now recovering. It was a tense couple of hours between when things were supposed to be done and when I finally got the news, but I’m so relieved to know that she’s ok now.<\/p>\n
The hospital that she’s at has a phone number that you can call for updates. It’s really, really weird to call a nurse’s station and basically ask, “So, is my grandmother still alive?” Thankfully, the answer was always yes. <\/p>\n
Grandma is going to be in the ICU tonight, but the scariest part is over. Tomorrow, the rehab begins. I want to thank you all for your well wishes and support. It really means a lot to me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
