I mean, a certain President who just won a Nobel Peace Prize was reading it earlier this year. That&#8217;s almost as good as being on Oprah&#8217;s book club.<\/p>\n<p>But, hey, I read it and I enjoyed it, so I might as well review it.<\/p>\n<p>And, yes, I am blogging about books at 8:30pm on a Friday night, but that just makes me super awesome.<\/p>\n<p>Any by super awesome, I mean &#8220;I think I did something to hurt my foot.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Also? I am completely and utterly lame.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, Netherland is another easy read, but it manages to draw you in. It tells the story of NYC post-911 and the story of a family falling apart. Somehow, they become metaphors for each other. Throw in some cricket matches and a few mobsters and you have yourself a novel.
