My weekend can be summed up thusly: Weekend? What weekend?<\/p>\n
I had a three day weekend (my last of the summer) and feel like I haven’t had a day off in years. How does that work? The 300+ miles that I put on my truck just might have something to do with it. Other than that, I’m drawing a blank. I think that I might have been temporarily been replaced with a Pod Person. I’m back, but I have no idea what my Doppelg\u00e4nger did while I was gone. I think she behaved herself. I haven’t gotten any angry phone calls. Or been served with any warrants.<\/p>\n
I remember snippets of the weekend and they were pretty decent. I remember enjoying my cousin’s baby shower. And hanging out with both of my grandmothers. I believe that there was cake involved.<\/p>\n
We’re officially gearing up at work for the start of the semester and the madness that comes with it. I lose my minion (ok, temp) after this week and my boss is going to be out for two weeks. So, if my posting becomes sporadic, it’s because I’m running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Or curled up in the fetal position in my office.<\/p>\n
I’m just being melodramatic. Something that I’m very, very good at.<\/p>\n
The fetal position is reserved for when I get home and can go really catatonic.<\/p>\n
