I can&#8217;t get over how delicious they came out. I used <a href = \"http:\/\/cupcakeblog.com\/index.php\/2006\/12\/cherry-vanilla-cupcakes\">this<\/a> recipe. Many thanks to <a href = \"http:\/\/sliceofpink.typepad.com\/\">Slice of Pink<\/a> for linking the cupcake blog. <\/p>\n<p>The recipe was a bit complicated, but definitely worth the effort. You bake the cupcakes and let them cool. Then, you cut of the top and a small section of the middle. You fill up the hollowed bit with delicious cherry filling. Then you put the top back on. I&#8217;ve never scooped out the insides of a cupcake before, but I think that I did an ok job. Of course, anything looks better with pink frosting and a cherry on the top!<\/p>\n<p>Kristian ran out at 11pm last night, because I was out of powdered sugar and I needed it for the frosting. Once again, he is my hero.
