Hi everyone, my name is Laura.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I first talked to Hope about writing a guest blog post, I took a look at the header \u201cRandomness\u201d and searched through my memory banks for pretty much the best and most random story I\u2019ve got.\u00a0 It\u2019s great at parties\u2026 feel free to share.<\/span><\/p>\n

One night I was out at a random<\/strong> bar in Hollywood and spotted a guy I went to college with.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know his name, only vaguely remembered his face, but I knew two things about him:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. He was known to be a \u201cplayah.”<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Although my face probably looked familiar, I knew he wouldn\u2019t know my name.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I was in a pretty random <\/strong> mood, so I went up to him and said, \u201cHey!\u00a0 Remember me?\u00a0 From Northwestern? \u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

    As expected, he was taken off guard and replied, \u201cOh\u2026 yeah\u2026 hi, how are you?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    That\u2019s when I went in for the kill. \u201cOh, you probably don\u2019t remember me.\u00a0 We hooked up that one time!\u00a0 It\u2019s ok, don\u2019t worry about it.\u00a0 I actually had an abortion so I took care of the whole thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    He blinked and said nothing for a good\u2026 let\u2019s say 3 or 4 seconds. <\/span><\/p>\n

    I laughed, he laughed, he was still a bit nervous\u2026 so I decided to give him a break, \u201cI hope you realize I\u2019m just joking.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    Oh boy did I have a new admirer after that one.\u00a0 He followed me around that bar all night, got my number and texted me for months after.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Of course, once a player always a player, I had no intentions to really \u201chang out\u201d with him.\u00a0 I was just a random<\/strong> blip on his player radar.<\/span><\/p>\n
