She&#8217;s checking out the photo board with all of the various pictures from her life. How cute is she?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/hopers\/3705472765\/\" title=\"IMG_5281 by hopers, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2536\/3705472765_bde946e7fc.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"IMG_5281\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Going through the photos from the party and choosing them, post-processing them, labeling them, etc. has been a real pleasure. My grandma just looks so darn happy in all of them. She was like a little girl all evening. It was completely and utterly endearing and I hope that I am half as cute as she is when I get to be her age.<\/p>\n<p>Hell, I just plain hope that I get to be her age.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of which, does she look 80? I think not.<\/p>\n<p>She looks maybe 70 and a damn spry 70 at that.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s still doing pretty much all of the things that she was doing when I was little (except working, she got rid of that particular grindstone quite some time ago). At 80 years old, she&#8217;s still driving, still gardening, still making AMAZING quilts and still involved with all sorts of social activities.<\/p>\n<p>Also? She wanted a laptop for her birthday. A mother flipping <i>laptop<\/i>. After over 50 years on this earth, he&#8217;s still giving people bunny fingers. But guess which cousin is the one who looks to be with child? I&#8217;ll give you a hint. It just might be the GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME.
