Not quite to neck strain levels, but we&#8217;re getting there.<\/p>\n<p>This is what is making me smile today:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/monkeysblog.com\/\">Jen(nie)&#8217;s<\/a> flight took off mostly on time. Kristian is going to be picking her up at the airport and she should be at our house by the time that I get home today. I&#8217;m taking my last half personal day to hang out with her this afternoon.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of time off&#8230;. the woman who enters payroll accidentally deducted someone else&#8217;s time off from my balance sheet. She just caught it yesterday. So I have a day and a half of vacation that I didn&#8217;t know that I had! At this rate, I might actually be able to go on vacation again someday. I looked at the last year&#8217;s worth of vacation deductions to see if she had made any more errors. Alas, it was not to be.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of never being able to take vacation again, I worked out a kick ass flex-time deal for this summer. It should make me more productive and it will give me some extra chunks of time to work on the house. Or sleep in. I&#8217;ve heard that sleeping is nice. I&#8217;ve been meaning to try it.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of never sleeping, I won&#8217;t have to get up at the ass crack of dawn once a week for physical therapy because&#8230; I finished up today.<\/li>\n<li>Yeah, physical therapy being over probably should have been at the top of my list. I mean, I can start really <em>running<\/em> again. And I&#8217;m not in constant pain anymore. And I totally impressed my physical therapist with my awesome powers of knee healing. Have I mentioned how nice it is to not be in constant pain?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was a little anti-climactic to have my physical therapist say, &#8220;Ok, we&#8217;re done! Keep up your exercises at home and come back if it starts hurting again.&#8221; I was like, so I can run?&#8221; (Uh, yes, that&#8217;s what it means when your done). &#8220;And I can start playing frisbee again?&#8221; (Yes because, you see, we&#8217;re done). And then I thanked her and I walked out, not stopping at the desk to make my next appointment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No diploma, no cake, no nothing. What a rip!<\/p>\n<p>Now, if the sun will just come out, I think I could safely say that I&#8217;m in a fabulous mood.<\/p>\n<p>We won&#8217;t talk about flood insurance.
