We went to the Sox game today to celebrate Beans’ birthday. Her Dad bought us all tickets (and hot dogs!) which was awesomely awesome of him. <\/p>\n

We had a fab time… although it probably would have been better if the Sox had won. I think that the most depressing moment was when we were down by three, bottom of the ninth, two outs and David Ortiz was up. Fenway started to empty out.<\/p>\n

I said something like, “Just because it’s Papi, it doesn’t mean we’re going to lose. But we’ll probably lose.” And then we lost. Because he made the last out.<\/p>\n

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.<\/p>\n

But it’s just good to be at Fenway. And did I mention something about free tickets? And hot dogs?<\/p>\n

This photo is the view from our seats. You can sortof see Beans, but my giant head is blocking her. <\/p>\n

Kristian tells me that they’ve lost every game that we’ve gone to together. I hadn’t realized it, but I think that he’s right. They kicked some major ass when my sister and I went together on Patriots’ Day. Clearly, I need to go to fewer baseball games with my boyfriend and start going to more baseball games with my sister.<\/p>\n

Because that’s totally healthy.
