They&#8217;re at the hospital right now and they expect the baby to come sometime tomorrow afternoon. This is exciting news, indeed.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also darn inconvenient for me!<\/p>\n<p>You see, we&#8217;re two weeks away from her due date. And yet, there they are, in the hospital, about to embark on parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>And I haven&#8217;t started their baby quilt yet! I thought that I had at least another weekend to <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">procrastinate<\/span> work on it.<\/p>\n<p>One emergency trip to the fabric store later, I&#8217;m ready to start sewing on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Really, people need to consult with me about these things!<\/p>\n<p>(For those of you with broken sarcasm detectors, the above was written with tongue firmly planted in cheek).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This time tomorrow, our friend Dan will probably be a Dad.
